ANNIKA BOLTON
Annika Bolton is a first-generation Mexican, Danish, and American actress, born and raised in Los Angeles and now based between Los Angeles, New York, and Boston. She began her career in the commercial and print industry before discovering theatre, where she found a profound connection to her voice and humanity.
While pursuing her BFA in Boston, Annika developed a deep love for the stage and a passion for originating new work. She is especially drawn to stories that uplift women and center Latino voices, finding purpose in bringing new characters and narratives to life.
Alongside her dedication to new works, Annika is equally driven by her love of Shakespeare and classical theatre, bridging contemporary storytelling with a strong classical foundation. Known for her flair for the dramatic, grounded presence, and dry, often sarcastic sense of humor, she gravitates toward complex, youthful characters that balance emotional depth with wit and relatability.
“Annika Bolton has proven to be an exceptional actor and ideal community member and collaborator. She brings complexity and humanity to each role she works on and is a valuable participant in any process lucky enough to have her in its midst.”
